This privacy policy explains the kind of data that TASKSASA collects, why it is collected, how we use, share and protect the data when you interact with our platform. It also explains how the data is stored, This policy also directs you on how you can opt out if you do not want your data collected.
Managing your privacy
TASKSASA offers taskers a platform that is secure and unique to each tasker. The onus is on the tasker or business registered on TASKSASA to keep their login username and password secret. The username and password allows the profile of each member on the TASKSASA platform to have their own information including credentials, unique images and documents associated with their profile secured with their login credentials. We therefore ask each individual or business to keep their login credentials secret. Employees or affiliates of TASKSASA do not require the password of any user of the TASKSASA platform. Do not share your login password with anyone.
Who can see your information?
The documents pertaining to qualifications, star-ratings, tasker images (such as the profile picture, identification details, location and scanned qualifications or certificates) and contact details can be viewed by prospective clients offering taskers work and authorized person(s) working with or for TASKSASA.
How we use your information
The information collected is used to facilitate taskers to connect with prospective clients. Information collected from taskers is not shared by advertising agencies however, in future, TASKSASA will include personalized advertisements for taskers that are relevant and useful to their professional work or trade.
Information Collected
TASKSASA collects personal information such as a full names, profile picture, geographic location, your mobile number, email address and national identification information or passport number at registration. Individuals or businesses that use the TASKSASA platform can also use their profile photo or business logo as a profile picture.
Why we collect and use the information
TASKSASA collects the above information so as to help in identification, authentication, and fraud prevention. The TASKSASA platform aims to provide a transparent platform that is secure from fraudulent activities while facilitating short and long services for skilled or professional individuals or businesses. TASKSASA uses the information to analyze website/app usage (app for a future release) and improve our services for better delivery to the taskers and their potential clients.
Sharing of information with third parties
The information collected by TASKSASA is not shared with unauthorized individuals. Only person(s) working with or for TASKSASA can view the information and are restricted by TASKSASA rules and regulations on copying or otherwise sharing any information about any tasker on the TASKSASA platform. In the event of a directive from the government of Kenya, be it authorized from the judiciary, law enforcement or other legally allowed officials working for the government of Kenya, the requested information will be availed to facilitate the operation by the requesting official or office. This is in line with TASKSASA being a transparent and fraud-free platform for its users and staff at TASKSASA.
Storage of your information and changes to this privacy policy
The information collected by TASKSASA will remain with TASKSASA. However, individuals can request TASKSASA to delete their account by sending an email to info@tasksasa.com requesting for their account to be deleted. The information collected by TASKSASA will then be kept in the archives for up to 6 months in case of any government request or other legal purposes. After 6 months, the information will be deleted. Individuals or businesses who delete their accounts will not be availed to clients for new tasks or work opportunities. This privacy policy can and/or will be changed in future to be compliant with existing and new laws in the constitution of Kenya and new changes and additions to the TASKSASA platform. All current members on the TASKSASA platform will be notified of new changes and be offered an opportunity to opt in with the additional changes to the privacy policy.
